Dear Abundant Life family,
As most of you know this coming Sunday April 5th is Palm Sunday and while we cannot be together physically, we are hoping we can bring a little piece of that community feeling to you.
The SLAW youth and leaders are planning to drop off palms at your homes later this week (in a safe and socially distanced way).
* They will leave on your door stop/ porch and ring the bell and then leave.
* Please wait until they are safely out of the way and then answer the door.
* On Sunday (or whenever you are worshipping) I encourage you to raise your palms and shout "HOSANNA"
If you would like a palm delivered to you- please contact me
via email @ firstname.lastname@example.org or text (204) 293-6357
with your name and home address by Thursday April 2nd
Please feel to ask any questions you might have.

Shared Youth Ministry
Seventh Graders are invited to join the youth group (Gr 7-12) for opportunities to deepen faith through learning, service, leadership development and fun. A couple of times a year ALL has a youth-led service, although youth are encouraged to serve according to their gifts and interests at any time.
Activities include learning, serving, worshiping and social events. We want to offer faith-deepening, relationship-building, figuring-out-how-faith-applies-to-life kinds of possibilities. Youth may be involved in worship as assistants, musicians, in dramas, as technicians; in service through a variety of church mission or community projects such as the Urban or the Community Christmas Hamper program; in learning through classes and visits to churches, temples, synagogues; and building relationships through the mentoring program and social activities like bowling, movies, or camping.
ALL youth also connect with youth of other churches through the Confirmation Camp at Luther Village ON in years alternating with the national CLAY gathering; the MNO Youth/Young Adult Worship services which move around to different locations on the first Sunday evening of each month (except summer); and at national gatherings every two years in August for CLAY (Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth): e.g. 2018—Thunder Bay ON, 2020—Calgary AB.
