The following classes are currently available:
Preschool, ages 3-Kindergarten
Grades 1-3
Grades 4-6
We are currently using Augsburg’s Witness curriculum for Pre-K and 1-3 classes and the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum for the 4-6 class.
Children participate in worship and after “Children’s Time” they go to their church school classes.
Students entering Grade 3 receive a Kid’s Bible. This is presented to them on Welcome Back Sunday.
Students entering Grade 5 are invited to participate in ALL’s Longer and Later Confirmation Program. See the Confirmation link for information on the rest of the program.
The Sunday school children are a big part of our annual inter-generational Advent/Christmas program, usually during worship on the 4th Sunday of Advent.
In Spring 2010 the Sunday school children supported a food and educational assistance program with their offerings for “Kids Helping Kids” in our companion Synod in the Cameroon.
