All good gifts come from God. Acknowledging these blessings and sharing the gifts we first receive from God is part of being in Christian community. The life and ministry of the congregation is undergirded by the donations of time, talent and monetary gifts by the members and, also sometimes, the community. In the developing, growing and building process of this new congregation many people have been, and continue to be, generous in every regard. The congregation and its members also donate volunteer time and monies to the MNO Synod’s programs like Lutheran Urban Ministry, to Cameroon Companion Project, Global Hunger and Development, Canadian Lutheran World Relief and various other ministries of the church and the world.

Abundant Life Lutheran Church could not thrive without the donations of volunteer time and skills in the trades, the arts, administration, hospitality, encouragement, and leadership. MOVE (Ministry of Volunteer Energy) provides for individuals to volunteer in worship planning, leading and assisting. Other committees—education, community service, property and maintenance, mission and outreach can use people with a variety of gifts, talents, interests and a willingness to help.

And the congregation would not thrive without monetary gifts. To assist with this, weekly offering envelope sets are available. Or you can sign on for the Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) program where your offering is taken directly from your bank or credit union account each month. To arrange for either of these options please contact the church office. Charitable donation receipts are issued.
